WE'RE MOVING!!

My house is a total disaster.

Mister Graduating From College and I are moving to Tallahassee, FL.  Mister T is on the wait list for FSU's Med School. We figure odds of hearing yes are about 50-50. A friend associated with the school seems to think moving shows commitment and will increase the chances of getting in, so...I'm packing boxes, our furniture and rental contract are sold, and my house looks like it's been ransacked by a pack of wild dogs.

At least I contained the disaster to the office.

It has been a crazy experience...a lot is involved in moving across the country. I stressed about how to move our things. Melissa and Curtis just moved to Alaska and we learned how crazy expensive moving is!! Yikes! Not to mention a lot of work.

So I'm thrilled that we sold our contract... (which actually was very easy--I posted our house on craigslist for 48 hours and received 127 responses. **By the way-I love craigslist.org. If any one is interested in the best 24-hour garage sale/realtor/car salesman/travel agent, check out the site!**) ...part of scoring the rental contract was purchasing ALL our furniture. It's one of those win-win-win situations: no moving furniture for us, great deal for new tenants (who are newly weds and had no furniture)!

The BEST NEWS though is that a guy from work, Aaron, told me last Friday that he and his wife are renting a Penske truck and moving to Gainesville, FL AND that he could take our things to Florida for us!!! I admit, I teared up. We don't have much stuff left, but it will not all fit in the maxima! I offered to pay him some moola (which he didn't even ask for!!). THIS IS SUCH AWESOME NEWS! So we'll save tons of hassle and pay him about what I thought it would cost us to get to Tally. Aaron passes right through Tallahassee, so it won't be out of his way. Also, Mister Won't have to drive the truck and I will get to ride together in the car as we trek the country! Hooray! Plus, we'll feel ok leaving the car unattended so we can stop and see Carlsbad Caverns and other cool places. Any suggestions?

So, all in all, completely, 100%, totally a tender mercy from Heavenly Father to help us out of a tough situation.

True,we won't get our things until mid-June, but we won't really need them till then anyways...

THE PLAN:
April 24/25 Mister T Graduates
April 27 Paul and Kali's baby's blessing
April 28-2 GRADUATION CELEBRATION CRUISE with friends
May 3-ish Home to AZ for long, wonderful visit
May 20-ish Drive to Florida
May 28-4 Barber Hawaii Vacation!
June 17 Get our stuff

It's weird that in 2 weeks we'll be saying goodbye to Provo. We'll miss it.

Congratulations on graduating and moving!!!! I bet you'll love being back home again Jilly! We can't wait to see you when you cruise through Arizona. If you stay long enough - maybe you'll even get to meet Baby Girl Hanson! - Maren

I hope the shower was a ton of fun last night! Good luck with moving - it is such a pain but it sounds like things are falling into place for you. We'll see you soon!

I know...I'm so excited to head through AZ. Maren, run around, jump, skip, anything to get that lil' girl out sooner! Does fiber help in this case? I guess that's a different thing.

Andrea, maybe you should just move to Tally with me. That would be the best!
