More Gelato Please

March 14th - 18th was Mr. T's last official break in school. From here on out, we are at the mercy of his rotations for Christmas, Thanksgiving, and any sort of "summer" vacation (except during July of his 3rd year where he gets a break for board study - super fun and relaxing I'm sure).
So, to take advantage of Mr. T's last “Spring Break” and to celebrate a slightly premature 5-year anniversary, we treated ourselves mid-March with a 10-day trip to Italy!!
Needless to say, it was W-O-N-D-E-R-F-U-L! We flew into Naples, marveled at Pompeii, drove the Amalfi Coast, conquered Rome, partied in Florence, tasted Tuscany, relaxed in Pisa, and got lost in Venice.
It was a great break for us both and we hope to go back again someday. I included some of our favorite pictures below. Enjoy!

Loving the ruins at Pompeii
Views from Positano

Hiking the “Pathway of the Gods”

In front of the Trevi fountain in Rome
Taking in the colosseo

"TA POP" - Latin for "So much pasta I'm about TA POP"
A great view of Florence during the 150th Unification Day celebration

Views of San Gimignano from the vineyard we ate lunch at
Classically cheesy shots in Pisa…they look so fake!!
We love Italy
A final magical night on a gondola ride in Venice – this was a Christmas present from Jillian’s boss!
Our good-bye breakfast

We are already looking forward to celebrating the next 5 years!

are you kidding? LUCKY! (spoken with a Napoleon Dynamite accent).

you guys will never regret going when you are young and energetic!

looks like you lived la dolce vita-- and that's the best leaning tower of Pisa photo I've seen to date. perfect positioning!

I want to be on that coastline with the colorful village in the background--maybe that'll be my new happy place. love ya!

here's to rotations!
