First, we gained a rather large amount of Chick-fil-a coupons after our 24-hour stint at the Grand Opening.
Second, I have been searching for wall decor since we moved to the new condo about a year ago, but the posters I liked were just too expensive to justify - $35-45 each (and I wanted 3). So I just kept checking the website and hoping for a miracle. Wouldn't you know it, I got one! I checked the website shortly before my birthday and found the posters on sale, one for $25, the other two for $5 each! Happy birthday me. So now, finally, my walls are not bare. How do you like my Florida throw-backs?
And last, but certainly not least - now that Mr. T is starting rotations and driving to the hospital every day (which unlike the medical school, cannot be seen from my condo) we decided he needed a car with air conditioning. We'd been driving my parents generosity with Garrett's HS ride for the past few years. At the end of June we upgraded to our very first Talbot family car purchase. Tada! Mr. T was psyched at the dealers office...I was nauseated. You want how much of my blood, sweat, and tears? Yuck. But that feeling went away after seeing Mr. T's ear to ear grin and knowing that he's loving that drive every day. The car looks extra great since Mr. T added the tinting a few weeks ago.
Happy day!

LOVE the new car and pictures!!!
Jill! I saw the posters when we were Skyping the other day, but I didn't say anything and now I regret it! They are super cute, and I was thinking of doing something similar in my next apt. Would you be mad if I stole your idea? :)
Thanks Toshi!
Nicole - thanks! You should absolutely go for it! These posters are still on discounted prices - $24, $24 and $12 I think. Here's the link...
