Counting down

I can't believe how quickly time can fly.  It took so long to get here, but now that I'm in the last quarter of pregnancy, it seems there is always a to-do list running through my mind...areas of the house I have to scrub before we have guests, items I have to collect for baby, hospital documents to prepare, projects at work to tackle, stuff to sell to make room for all the stuff to buy, parenting to figure out, dust to conquer!!

12 weeks left

 I think nesting should have been called "guesting."  I've just got to get my house presentable before people come to visit, and I must admit pregnancy hasn't been great for my housekeeping.  Luckily, Mr. T has wisely "not noticed" the change, and in times of total chaos really picked up the slack.

The belly continues to bulge.  Crazy to think I've got two more months of growing left!  How?!?  It is so fun to have our little somebody in there kicking and squiring all day though.  I'm going to miss that.  I love to sit on the couch with Mr. T's hand on my belly and just watch our little girl go crazy!!  I really am praying for the Barber baby-size genes to come through for me.  I'm afraid I'll be in big trouble if I've got a Mr. T-size baby.

Mr. T caught me "organizing" the other day.  I didn't make much headway.

Mr. T is doing well.  He's busy, busy with rotations, but never ceases to amaze me!  Grades continue to be excellent and life is even more exciting with the specialty question decided - ER here we come!  We'll never be the dull couple at the party again with all the interesting things he'l be able to experience.

I was blessed with two amazing baby showers over the past month - one back home and one here.  Thanks to Logan, Mom, Aunt Michelle, Karen, Toshi, Megan, Jenessa, and Jenny for your thoughtful planning!  Work is hosting a final shower for me at the end of March.  I'm so grateful to have such wonderful and supportive friends and family!!!  I was seriously showered in gifts - and were they ever precious!!  I can't wait to use them all!!!  Some people even made my little girl her gifts - people are SO talented!!  I am so appreciative!!  Pictures to follow - I still have to acquire the pics from my shower-givers.  :)
