The Everywhere Talbots are back to being the Florida Talbots
for a while. January and February we
were in Jacksonville and Tallahassee. We
just moved last weekend back to South Florida for March and April to finish up
Richard's last year of school. What a
way to end!!Since we are staying so short term, we looked into a vacation rental and are LIVING ON THE BEACH!!! It's such a fun adventure. The condo we're renting is very charming--albeit cozy--and not 100 steps from putting my toes in the sand. So far, I've spent the days working from home next to open windows, listening to the sound of the waves. It reminds me of when I lived in Hawaii and I'm loving it! Avery seems totally stoked about the sand, but we haven't braved the water yet. In the words of my father, "Only Yankees go swimmin' in March!" ;) We'll probably break down and dive in soon.
Richard has a rotation this month he's not stoked about, but
he's making the best of it. The most
exciting news is that he gets Good Friday off and he gets March 15th off (which
is the day we hear where we match for residency) so we can be together for the
big reveal.
We're praying for good news on Monday the 11th (when we find
out IF we matched) and then to be pleased on the 15th (when we find out WHERE
we match).
