It was a beautiful, but cold, year in McCall!! Sadly, upon arriving, Mr. T and I also caught colds that were spreading around the family! Bummer...colds in the summer! =( It was the first time I found myself searching for hot chocolate in the cupboards.
But it was wonderful to see family and visit. Mr. T had been growing his hair out all crazy as his summer's rebellion, and it was hilarious to see what it looked like after a ride on the boat! The food was scrumptious, and the Talbots even took time to make a big deal out of my birthday! It was so nice! We got in some good volleyball, a round or two of golf, got to see Grandma's lovely new cabin, and were able to stop by Big Bun (in Boise) 3 times (which is always a goal of the Talbots). If it is any indication of how cold it was, we didn't go to Ice cream Ally (another traditional hot spot) even once!
All-in-all it was a nice time. We've done some crazy stuff and put a lot of effort into getting to the reunion all 3 years we've been married; it seems weird to think that, because of school, we don't know the next time we'll be back. Sigh. We look forward to whenever that may be!
